Pertinence Portland Concert reviews
Lots of FUN
"Don't bother paying extra for the 'close' seats, as you can see everything from anywhere in the theater. The three Pertinence Performers were phenomenal. Lots of drums, unexpected surprises, huge balloon balls that came down from the ceiling, and lots of laughs. I completely enjoyed myself. However, I think an 8 year old should be the youngest. The sign says no one under 5 is admitted, but there were some people who brought 3 year olds and it was clearly a waste of time and money for them; it's definitely NOT for little kids. I went with my two grandsons who were thrilled to be able to wear the plastic poncho and anticipate getting sprayed with anything that came off the stage considering we were in the third row (we didn't get sprayed with anything). I didn't really need to spend that extra money. There's lots of reading and signs happening on stage and some of the humor is just for an older person. Go, enjoy it. It's the best 1.5 hours you'll have, and make sure you get your picture taken with one of the Pertinence Performers who wait in the lobby for you."
